We are currently seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Psychiatric Care Technician to join our dedicated and dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health care to our patients.   1. Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients with mental illness.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the psychiatric care team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  3. Monitor and document patients' behavior, progress, and vital signs.
  4. Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  6. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  7. Respond promptly to patients' needs and concerns, and communicate any changes in their condition to healthcare providers.
  8. Use effective communication skills to interact with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals.
  9. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve knowledge and skills.
  11. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries with patients and colleagues.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and other required records.
  13. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and demonstrating a positive attitude.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Continuously strive to provide the highest quality of care and promote a positive patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education And Experience: A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, Along With At Least One Year Of Experience In A Mental Health Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Mental Health Disorders And Be Able To Recognize Symptoms And Behaviors Associated With Them.

  • Ability To Work In A Team Environment: This Position Requires Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Psychiatrists, Nurses, And Social Workers. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills.

  • Excellent Patient Care Skills: The Psychiatric Care Technician Should Have Experience In Providing Direct Care To Patients, Including Monitoring Vital Signs, Administering Medications, And Assisting With Daily Living Activities.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Working In A Psychiatric Setting Can Be Unpredictable, So The Candidate Should Be Able To Handle Changing Situations And Adapt To Different Patient Needs. This May Include Working Different Shifts And Being On Call For Emergencies.
