  1. Provide exceptional care to patients in the areas of general plastic surgery and burn care.

  4. Perform various surgical procedures with precision and expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Physician Specializing In General Plastic Surgery And Burn Treatments Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Be Board Certified In Plastic Surgery By The American Board Of Plastic Surgery (Abps) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Plastic Surgery (Aobps). This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Skills In The Field Of Plastic Surgery.

  • Fellowship Training: Ideally, Candidates Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Plastic Surgery Or Burn Surgery. This Additional Training Provides Specialized Expertise And Hands-On Experience In Complex Plastic And Reconstructive Procedures.

  • Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Plastic Surgery And Burn Treatments, With A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Field. This May Include Experience In Both Surgical And Non-Surgical Procedures, As Well As Experience In Treating A Variety Of Conditions And Patient Populations.

  • Academic Qualifications: The Ohio State University Is A Leading Academic Institution, Therefore Candidates Should Have A Strong Academic Background With A Proven Track Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Plastic Surgery. A History Of Teaching And Mentoring Medical Students And Residents Is Also Desirable.
