  1. Provide high-quality patient care: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Instructor House Staff is to provide exceptional patient care. This includes conducting thorough evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  2. Educate and mentor students: As a member of our team, the Clinical Instructor House Staff will have the opportunity to work with medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include providing instruction, feedback, and guidance to help develop their skills in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  3. Contribute to research efforts: Our department is committed to advancing the field of rehabilitation medicine through research. Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: The Candidate Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School. This Is A Basic Requirement For All Physicians To Practice Medicine.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified Or Board Eligible In Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Pm&R) By The American Board Of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Abpmr). This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards For Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Set By The Abpmr.

  • Residency Training: The Candidate Must Have Completed An Accredited Residency Program In Pm&R. This Typically Involves 4 Years Of Post-Graduate Training In A Clinical Setting, Where The Candidate Gains Hands-On Experience In Diagnosing And Treating Patients With A Wide Range Of Physical Disabilities And Injuries.

  • Teaching And Leadership Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Teaching And Mentoring Medical Students, Residents, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Providing Didactic Lectures, Leading Small Group Discussions, And Supervising Clinical Rotations. Additionally, Experience In Leadership Roles, Such As Serving As A Chief Resident Or Overseeing A Clinical Service, Is Highly Valued.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As They Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Medical Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner, And Demonstrate Empathy And Compassion Towards Patients And Their Families.
