  1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in the Nursing Services department.
  2. Ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms and progress.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  6. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and feeding.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in all interactions with patients and their families.
  13. Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  14. Respond to patient requests and needs in a timely and courteous manner.
  15. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and disease.
  16. Assist in the coordination of patient appointments and procedures.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Capable Of Performing Tasks Such As Reading And Understanding Medical Charts And Communicating Effectively With Patients.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: A Valid Cna Certification Is Preferred For This Role. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Received Training In Basic Nursing Skills And Has Passed A Competency Exam. It Also Shows That The Candidate Has A Commitment To The Nursing Profession.

  • Previous Healthcare Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Nursing Home, Is Highly Desired For This Role. This Experience Can Include Positions As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or Other Patient Care Roles. It Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Healthcare Practices And Can Adapt To A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Valid Bls Certification Is Required For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Is Trained In Basic Life Support Techniques, Such As Cpr, And Is Able To Respond To Emergency Situations If Necessary.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For A Patient Care Associate In Nursing Services. This Role Requires Constant Interaction With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively Is Essential. Additionally, The Candidate Should Have A Compassionate And Empathetic Attitude Towards Patients And Their Families.
