
Patient Care Associate - ICU

- Provide compassionate and quality care to critically ill patients.
- Work collaboratively with ICU nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and grooming patients.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Help with patient transfers and transport to other units or procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and uphold infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Respond to patient calls and provide basic care and comfort measures.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining supplies and equipment in the ICU.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Attend training and education sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.

Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification.
At Least 1 Year Of Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu).
Knowledge And Understanding Of Basic Patient Care Procedures And Equipment, Including Vital Signs Monitoring, Wound Care, And Patient Hygiene.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
