As a Patient Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients and support to our healthcare team.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to all patients on every unit of the hospital.
  2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure all patient needs are met and addressed.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  4. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  5. Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  8. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Respect and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational trainings.
  11. Assist with the transportation of patients and equipment as needed.
  12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  13. Respond promptly to patient and family concerns and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  14. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to help with any task as needed.
  15. Comply with all infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Completion Of An Accredited Patient Care Associate Training Program Or Equivalent Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Basic Patient Care Procedures, And Infection Control Protocols.
