  1. Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all testing and results.
  3. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  4. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  5. Collaborate with other lab personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing and results.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current laboratory techniques and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other team members to discuss and interpret test results.
  9. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  11. Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Act with professionalism and maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  14. Take ownership and responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all laboratory results.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  16. Collaborate with other departments and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and projects.
  17. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  18. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Through A Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp, Amt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With A Focus On Testing And Critical Care Laboratory Procedures.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Equipment, Instruments, And Technology Used In Testing And Critical Care Settings.

  • Excellent Attention To Detail, Organizational Skills, And The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
