- Attend to emergency situations and provide necessary care and support to animals.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.
Associate's Degree In Veterinary Technology Or A Related Field From An Avma-Accredited Program.
Certification As A Laboratory Animal Technician (Lat) Or Laboratory Animal Technologist (Latg) By The American Association For Laboratory Animal Science (Aalas).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Laboratory Animals In A Research Or Academic Setting.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Animal Health And Welfare Regulations, Including Usda Animal Welfare Act, Public Health Service Policy, And Aaalac International Guidelines.
Ability To Perform Technical Procedures And Handle Animals In A Safe And Humane Manner, As Demonstrated Through Previous Experience Or Successful Completion Of Proficiency Testing.
