  1. Manage and maintain the university's inventory levels to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
  2. Utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for inventory control processes.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses, taking appropriate action to address any issues.
  4. Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
  6. Regularly conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  7. Create and maintain inventory reports and provide analysis to management on inventory levels, trends, and potential risks.
  8. Collaborate with purchasing and finance departments to ensure accurate recording and tracking of inventory costs.
  9. Forecast inventory needs based on historical data and upcoming events or projects.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
  11. Train and supervise staff members involved in inventory control processes.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory control and implement them as appropriate.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols related to inventory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Inventory Control And Analysis, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Setting.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Analysis And Reporting.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems, Such As Sap, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
