
Dinning Residence and Sustainability Coordinator

- Develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives within the residence halls to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate with university departments, student organizations, and community partners to promote sustainability and educate students on sustainable living.
- Plan and facilitate events and workshops related to sustainability and environmental awareness for residence hall students.
- Serve as a resource for students, staff, and faculty on sustainable living practices and resources on campus.
- Manage and oversee the recycling and composting programs within the residence halls.
- Monitor and track sustainability efforts and report progress to university administration.
- Create and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support sustainable initiatives and promote eco-friendly options for students.
- Develop and maintain a sense of community and inclusivity within the residence halls through programming and events.
- Serve as a liaison between residence hall staff and university administration on sustainability-related issues.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sustainability to continuously improve and update programs and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Sustainability Program Development And Implementation.
Knowledge Of Sustainable Dining Practices And Experience Working In A Dining Or Food Service Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Students, Staff, And External Partners.
Familiarity With Relevant Sustainability Certifications And Initiatives, Such As Leed, Green Restaurant Certification, And Farm To Fork Programs.
