- Provide individual and group art therapy sessions to students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University's Art Therapy program.
- Utilize a variety of art modalities and techniques to help participants express and process their emotions, experiences, and challenges.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each participant.
- Collaborate with other members of the Art Therapy team to provide comprehensive care and support for participants.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all therapy sessions and progress notes.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to track participant progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for the use of art therapy in promoting mental health and wellness.
- Stay current with research and developments in the field of art therapy and integrate new techniques and approaches into practice.
- Provide support and guidance to students in the Art Therapy program, including supervision and mentorship.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance professional development and maintain high-quality care.
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with participants and colleagues.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, regardless of their backgrounds or identities.
- Represent The Ohio State University's Art Therapy program at events and conferences to promote awareness and understanding of art therapy.
- Engage in community outreach and collaborations to expand the reach and impact of the Art Therapy program.
- Other duties as assigned by the program director or supervisor.
Master's Degree In Art Therapy From A Recognized Institution.
Certification As A Registered Art Therapist (Atr) From The Art Therapy Credentials Board.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Art Therapy Services In A Clinical Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Art Therapy Techniques And Interventions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
