Art Therapist

1. Provide individual and group art therapy sessions to students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University's Art Therapy program.
2. Utilize a variety of art modalities and techniques to help participants express and process their emotions, experiences, and challenges.
3. Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each participant.
4. Collaborate with other members of the Art Therapy team to provide comprehensive care and support for participants.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all therapy sessions and progress notes.
6. Conduct assessments and evaluations to track participant progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
7. Serve as a resource and advocate for the use of art therapy in promoting mental health and wellness.
8. Stay current with research and developments in the field of art therapy and integrate new techniques and approaches into practice.
9. Provide support and guidance to students in the Art Therapy program, including supervision and mentorship.
10. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance professional development and maintain high-quality care.
11. Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with participants and colleagues.
12. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, regardless of their backgrounds or identities.
13. Represent The Ohio State University's Art Therapy program at events and conferences to promote awareness and understanding of art therapy.
14. Engage in community outreach and collaborations to expand the reach and impact of the Art Therapy program.
15. Other duties as assigned by the program director or supervisor.
