
Administrative Secretary
Serves as Administrative Secretary providing support and assistance with administrative activities within the Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. Provides administrative secretarial support to Division Director, Division Administrator and faculty/physicians; coordinates calendars and schedules appointments; organizes meetings including catering, audio-visual equipment and other logistical items; takes meeting minutes as assigned; initiates, prepares and follows up on correspondence; writes or edits letters, reports, and other documents; prepares slide presentations; assists faculty with preparation of annual review and promotion & tenure documents. Tracks and maintains records of continuing medical education credits for faculty; greets and assists visitors, clinical staff, support staff and other guests to the administrative office as part of the front office staff; serves as liaison and division contact with faculty, staff, and other medical institutions; maintains census data.
