  1. Develop and implement project plans and timelines for various environmental health and safety projects across the company's properties.
  2. Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of environmental health and safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and promote a safe and sustainable environment.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather necessary information and resources for project implementation.
  5. Monitor project progress and identify any potential issues or roadblocks, proactively addressing them to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  6. Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  7. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in environmental health and safety, and incorporate them into project plans and strategies.
  9. Provide training and support to team members and other employees on environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  10. Foster a culture of safety and sustainability within the company by promoting and implementing environmentally friendly practices and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field: This Provides The Necessary Educational Foundation For Understanding The Principles Of Environmental Health And Safety And Their Application In The Workplace.

  • Professional Certification In Environmental Health And Safety: Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Demonstrate A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In The Field And Can Enhance Credibility With Clients And Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Project Management: A Project Manager, Environmental Health & Safety At The Irvine Company Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Executing Projects In The Environmental Health And Safety Field. This Includes Developing Project Plans, Managing Budgets, And Coordinating With Various Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Local And Federal Regulations: The Irvine Company Operates In Multiple States, So A Project Manager, Environmental Health & Safety Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Both State And Federal Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety. This Includes Osha, Epa, And State-Specific Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Project Manager, Environmental Health & Safety, One Will Be Responsible For Coordinating With Various Teams, Stakeholders, And Clients. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate Project Progress, Address Any Concerns, And Build Relationships With Stakeholders.
