- Develop and implement strategic plans for land development and infrastructure projects to support the overall goals and objectives of The Irvine Company.
- Oversee the design, planning, and construction of land development and infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, architects, and contractors in the execution of land development and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Research and implement innovative technologies and sustainable practices to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of land development and infrastructure projects.
- Review and approve engineering plans, proposals, and reports to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Monitor project progress and budget, identify and mitigate potential risks, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentor and develop team members, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients, residents, and other stakeholders.
- Represent The Irvine Company in public meetings, hearings, and other forums to communicate project plans and address any concerns or issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the company.
- Uphold the company's values and ethical standards, and promote a strong commitment to community involvement and corporate social responsibility.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Land Development And Infrastructure Engineering.
Professional Engineering (Pe) License In The State Of California.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including Experience Managing Large-Scale Land Development Projects.
