1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Set up banquet room according to event specifications and standards.
3. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of banquet area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
5. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
6. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure all food items are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
7. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
8. Assist with event setup and breakdown, including carrying and lifting heavy items.
9. Anticipate guest needs and adapt service accordingly to provide a personalized experience.
10. Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and be able to make recommendations to guests.
11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and successful event.
12. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
13. Follow company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and guest conduct.
14. Continuously strive to exceed guest expectations and provide exceptional service.
15. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
16. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
