Linux Systems Engineering-Associate
In your role as a Linux Administrator you will be Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow the sun model. This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment. You will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field. Monitoring of Linux/Unix systems. Troubleshooting of systems. Working with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore service. Automation of activities through scripting and configuration management. Working with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estate. Documentation of processes and procedures for the team.
3-6 years of Unix/Linux systems administration experience
Prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus
Prior Enterprise experience is a plus
Relevant certifications are a strong plus
Experience using remote management interfaces like Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, VMware vCenter/vSphere
