The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Analyst/Associate to join its Global Banking & Markets, US Leveraged Finance, Distressed Trading Research Team. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing and dynamic team that is at the forefront of the financial markets. We are looking for an individual who is highly analytical and knowledgeable in distressed debt and leveraged finance. As part of the team, the Analyst/Associate will be involved in researching and analyzing credit investments and markets, performing financial modeling, and creating investment recommendations for the firm’s clients. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team’s efforts to provide clients with innovative and tailored solutions to their financing needs.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field, at least two years of experience in the leveraged finance or distressed trading space, advanced financial modeling skills, and a thorough understanding of the capital markets. Additionally, the candidate should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate should also exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
