  1. Conduct quantitative analysis and provide strategic insights to drive the success of the global equities business.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex problems.
  3. Utilize in-depth knowledge of financial markets to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, traders, and sales teams.
  6. Provide quantitative support for pricing and risk management of equities products.
  7. Work with technology teams to develop and enhance trading platforms and algorithms.
  8. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential areas of growth and improvement within the business.
  9. Participate in the development and execution of business strategies and initiatives.
  10. Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  11. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As An Spg Strats Associate/Vice President, Strong Analytical Skills Are Crucial For Evaluating Complex Financial Data And Developing Innovative Strategies For The Equities Synthetics Products Group.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Markets: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Financial Markets, Including Equities, Derivatives, And Structured Products. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Developing And Executing Trading Strategies.

  • Quantitative And Programming Skills: Proficiency In Quantitative Analysis And Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And C++ Is Necessary For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Building And Maintaining Financial Models And Tools.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Teamwork And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Traders, Sales, And Other Team Members. They Must Be Able To Communicate Complex Ideas And Work Together Towards A Common Goal.

  • Relevant Experience: Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Global Banking And Markets Environment, Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Experience In Equity Derivatives Trading, Structuring, Or Strats/Quantitative Roles Within The Financial Industry.
