Accounting Analyst
Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Support field offices in responding to revenue related questions, performing analysis and reconciliations to resolve issues and answer questions. Manage certification of billing monthly, eventually assist in validating billing calculations. Perform balance sheet reconciliation of cash, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue monthly. Substantively substantiate account balances quarterly for balance sheet certification. Assist in quarterly reporting and annual audit by producing supporting documentation. Assist in other department projects and initiatives as needed.
2 years of public accounting experience
Experience in public company preferred but not required
Strong basic accounting knowledge
Ability to manage very tight deadlines around monthly, quarterly, and yearly close
