EH&S Technician

The Dow Chemical Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing safety and environmental programs, monitoring safety and environmental compliance, and providing safety and environmental training. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of EH&S principles and practices, the ability to provide guidance and technical assistance, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Monitor safety and environmental compliance through inspections, audits, and other methods.

• Provide safety and environmental training to personnel.

• Ensure that safety and environmental issues are addressed promptly and appropriately.

• Investigate environmental health and safety incidents and provide appropriate reports.

• Ensure that safety and environmental equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

• Develop and maintain safety and environmental records and documents.

• Monitor and report on safety and environmental performance.

• Serve as a resource for safety and environmental inquiries.

• Provide guidance and technical assistance on safety and environmental issues.

• Respond to emergency situations, as needed.
