Product Commercialization Research and Development Manager
Provide technical leadership through the development and commercialization of processes and products, ensuring the evaluation and implementation of new products, packaging and manufacturing processes. Provide support to product development to inform them of existing system capabilities and determine requirements for new product types where capability does not exist. Provide technical expertise to Global Juice, North America Nutrition marketing, quality and technical functions, thermal plants, bottlers, fountain and concentrate manufacturing on production and product related issues. Provide continual technical support for existing nutrition category brands. Schedule or attend pre-commercialization test run to ensure production capability. Transfer the technology to deliver a solid business case for the purpose of commercialization.
4+ years of experience in food manufacturing for a fast-moving consumer goods company
Specific knowledge of food chemistry and complex food systems as it relates to the production of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages.
Must have experience from product concept to launch, using a defined NPD (New Product Development)
Good knowledge and experience with food and beverage process technology, food hygiene and food microbiology
