  7. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all procurement activities.
  8. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for tea procurement.
  9. Monitor and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.
  10. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in procurement operations.
  11. Keep abreast of emerging tea market trends and innovations and make recommendations for incorporating them into procurement strategies.
  12. Represent the company in tea industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay updated on market developments.
  13. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the procurement team.
  14. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on procurement activities, challenges, and opportunities.
  15. Mentor and train junior procurement staff to develop their skills and knowledge in the tea market.

This Includes Knowledge Of The Tea Market, Understanding Of Various Tea Varieties And Their Sourcing Regions, And Experience In Managing Tea Suppliers.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Director Of Procurement - Tea Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Data, Identifying Trends, And Making Strategic Decisions Based On Market And Supplier Insights. They Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Manage The Complexities Of Procurement In The Tea Industry.
