- Develop and implement a global PLM strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of product lifecycle management professionals to ensure efficient and effective product development processes.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product development by leveraging new technologies and best practices in the PLM space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, research and development, and supply chain to ensure seamless integration of PLM processes.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product development.
- Define and track key performance indicators for product development and use data to drive decision-making.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for the PLM department.
- Communicate PLM strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to product development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the PLM team and across the organization.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Director Of Plm Must Possess Excellent Leadership Qualities And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Plm Professionals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Product Lifecycle Management: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of The Entire Product Lifecycle, From Ideation To Launch, And The Ability To Develop And Implement Successful Plm Strategies.
Experience In The Consumer Goods Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Consumer Goods Industry, Preferably In A Similar Role, And Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Market And Consumer Trends.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director Of Plm Must Have The Ability To Think Strategically And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Drive Product Innovation And Growth. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Overcome Any Challenges That May Arise During The Product Development Process.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Extensive Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, And Sales. The Director Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Ideas And Influence Decision-Making.
