In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors while ensuring efficient and effective operations across our organization.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors: This includes identifying and onboarding new vendors, negotiating contracts and terms, and ensuring timely payment and delivery of goods and services.
  2. Drive operational excellence: Implement strategies and processes to optimize operations across the organization, including supply chain management, inventory control, and cost reduction initiatives.
  3. Manage vendor performance: Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure they are meeting contractual obligations and delivering high-quality products and services.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with various teams, including supply chain, finance, and quality assurance, to identify and address operational issues and improve processes.
  5. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives: Continuously evaluate vendor relationships and operations to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  6. Conduct regular performance reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors and provide feedback for improvement or recognition.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards: Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to vendor management and operations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and market changes: Monitor industry trends and changes in the market to identify potential risks or opportunities for the company.
  9. Mentor and develop team members: Provide guidance and support to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  10. Represent the company in vendor negotiations and meetings: Act as a key point of contact for vendors and represent the company's interests in negotiations and meetings.

  • Financial Acumen: As A Key Member Of The Leadership Team, The Director Of Vendor & Operations Management Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management. This Includes Budgeting, Forecasting, And Cost Analysis To Drive Cost Efficiencies And Maximize Profitability.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Of Vendor & Operations Management Must Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Procurement, Logistics, And Marketing. This Includes The Ability To Build Relationships, Influence Stakeholders, And Drive Alignment To Achieve Business Objectives.
