  1. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all financial products and services offered by The Bank of New York Mellon.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand technical information.
  3. Translate complex financial concepts and technical details into clear and concise written content.
  4. Edit and proofread technical documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  5. Ensure that all technical documentation is up-to-date and reflects the latest developments in the financial industry.
  6. Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support the creation of technical documentation.
  7. Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure that technical information is effectively communicated to clients.
  8. Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
  9. Collaborate with the training and development team to create user-friendly guides and training materials for internal use.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve and enhance technical documentation processes.
  11. Train and mentor junior technical writers in the team to ensure consistency and quality in all documentation.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline documentation creation and maintenance.
  13. Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and compliance standards.
  14. Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal style guides and templates for technical documentation.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on technical writing best practices to other departments and teams within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Banking Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, English, Or A Related Field.

  • Exceptional Writing And Editing Skills, With A Strong Attention To Detail.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Abilities And Experience Managing A Team Of Technical Writers.
