- Develop and execute internal communication strategies for the Investments and Wealth division of the Bank of New York Mellon.
- Engage and inform employees about the latest developments in the investments and wealth industry.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize communication needs and objectives.
- Create and manage communication channels, such as newsletters, email updates, and town hall meetings.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communication materials.
- Monitor and analyze employee feedback and adjust communication strategies as needed.
- Manage and oversee the production of internal communication materials, including writing and editing content.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement communication plans for major company initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on investments and wealth industry trends and developments.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the internal communication team.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in internal communications and implement new strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Marketing, to align messaging and ensure consistency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all internal communications.
- Represent the Investments and Wealth division at company-wide communication meetings and events.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Extensive Experience In Internal Communications: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Internal Communication Strategies Within The Financial Services Industry. This Includes Experience With Various Communication Channels Such As Email, Intranet, Town Halls, And Other Employee Engagement Initiatives.
Strong Understanding Of Investment And Wealth Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Investment And Wealth Management Products And Services. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Regulatory Requirements, And Competitive Landscape.
Excellent Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Leader Within The Organization, The Vice President Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Oversee A Team Of Internal Communication Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Set Strategic Direction, Motivate And Develop Team Members, And Drive Results.
