The Bank of New York Mellon is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Vice President, External Reporting Manager to lead our team in providing accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with SEC and other regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a combination of strong technical proficiency, financial acumen, and business analysis skills. This position requires an individual who is highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. The Senior Vice President, External Reporting Manager should have excellent problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to think logically and analytically. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with SEC and other regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting processes.
  3. Analyze financial information and provide insight into key business trends and implications.
  4. Monitor changes in SEC and other regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Supervise and provide guidance to junior members of the team.
  7. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  8. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.
  9. Stay abreast of current market trends and developments.
  10. Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.
