Job Description

At The Bank of New York Mellon, we are looking for a motivated Senior Sales Representative with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven sales expertise to join our Outsourced Trading team. As an experienced sales professional, you will play a key role in building and executing sales strategies to meet the needs of our clients. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years of sales experience, preferably in financial services, and a deep knowledge of the trading industry. You should be a self-starter with a confident and outgoing personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions. Proven success in meeting sales targets and developing new business opportunities is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, execute, and manage sales strategies to meet the needs of clients.
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share.
  3. Develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  4. Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Proactively respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify areas of potential growth.
  7. Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales activities, and other relevant information.
  8. Develop presentations and other materials for client meetings.
  9. Meet and exceed set sales targets and objectives.
  10. Stay up-to-date on trading industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
