Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for financial services and a commitment to delivering the best possible customer service. We are looking for a team player who can manage multiple portfolios and ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.The Senior Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our portfolios, analyzing client needs and helping to identify and implement appropriate solutions. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial services setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with portfolio management software and a thorough understanding of asset classes is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of portfolios, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service.
  2. Analyze client needs and identify and implement appropriate solutions.
  3. Develop and implement portfolio management strategies.
  4. Research and monitor investments and markets to ensure portfolios are achieving targets.
  5. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance and risk.
  6. Prepare and present portfolio updates and performance reports.
  7. Keep up to date with financial regulations and industry trends.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  9. Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and regulations.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
