Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Fund/Client Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate accounting records for our clients. As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with the Fund/Client Accounting team to ensure that our accounting records are accurate and up to date.To be successful in this role, you must possess strong analytical and accounting skills, have a solid understanding of financial markets, and have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience. You must also have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for clients.
  2. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
  3. Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy.
  4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  5. Research and resolve client inquiries related to accounting records.
  6. Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit documents.
  7. Provide support to other team members in the Fund/Client Accounting team.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Monitor changes in accounting standards and update accounting records accordingly.

Job Qualifications
