
Senior Analyst, Credit Management
At The Bank of New York Mellon, we are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Senior Analyst to join our Credit Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the bank's risk-adjusted return by proactively managing credit risk through the origination and monitoring of credit facilities. You should be experienced in the analysis of financial statements and credit information, as well as have a strong understanding of credit risk management principles. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk management. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and credit information to evaluate risk.
- Proactively manage credit risk through origination and monitoring of credit facilities.
- Maximize the bank's risk-adjusted return on investments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders regarding credit risk management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Monitor performance of credit facilities and take appropriate action to maintain credit quality.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on credit risk activities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of credit risk management strategies.
- Identify and evaluate new credit risk opportunities.
