  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and capabilities in order to accurately respond to RFPs and DDQs.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and subject matter experts to gather information and data necessary for RFP and DDQ responses.
  3. Write clear, concise, and compelling responses to RFPs and DDQs that effectively showcase the company's strengths and differentiators.
  4. Ensure all responses are compliant with company policies and meet the requirements outlined in the RFP or DDQ.
  5. Continuously review and update existing response content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  6. Manage multiple RFP and DDQ projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
  7. Conduct research on potential clients and their specific needs in order to tailor responses and increase win rates.
  8. Act as a liaison between the company and potential clients, providing timely and professional communication throughout the RFP and DDQ process.
  9. Analyze past RFP and DDQ responses to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance future responses.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to RFP and DDQ writing to maintain a competitive edge.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members on RFP and DDQ writing best practices and company standards.
  12. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our capabilities and build relationships with potential clients.
  13. Provide support in other areas of the deal management process as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Proposal And Due Diligence Writing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Writing Request For Proposals (Rfps) And Due Diligence Questionnaires (Ddqs) In The Financial Services Industry. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Industry Terminology, Products, And Services.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Investment Management Products And Services: The Bank Of New York Mellon Deals With A Wide Range Of Investment Management Products And Services. The Vp Of Deal Management Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Products And Services, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate Their Features And Benefits In Rfps And Ddqs.

  • Project Management Skills: As The Vp Of Deal Management, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Coordinating The Rfp And Ddq Writing Process. This Requires Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Tight Deadlines, And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills: The Role Of A Rfp/Ddq Writer Requires Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner, As Well As Have Strong Editing And Proofreading Skills.
