Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Mortgage Reporting and Data Analytics Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll play an integral part in our Mortgage Loan Servicing team by providing data-driven insights and analytics to support our loan operations. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for data analysis and is able to provide actionable solutions using their technical proficiency.The ideal candidate will possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of mortgage loan servicing. You must also have excellent communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working with complex data sets, and have an understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize data analysis and reporting to provide insights and actionable solutions to support mortgage loan servicing operations.
  2. Interpret and analyze complex data sets to provide accurate and timely reports.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  4. Create and maintain efficient processes to support data analysis and reporting.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Identify areas for improvement in data collection processes and reporting procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain operational dashboards for accurate tracking of performance metrics.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of data and reporting.
  9. Monitor market trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance.
  10. Utilize project management and problem solving skills to resolve any issues.
