Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is seeking an experienced and driven Portfolio Reconciliation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of various portfolios. You will be required to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with at least 5 years of experience in portfolio reconciliation, preferably within a banking or financial services setting. You should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Additionally, you must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.If you have a passion for finance and a drive to deliver the highest quality of work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute timely and accurate reconciliation of various portfolios
  2. Monitor portfolio performance and identify any discrepancies
  3. Provide timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Develop and implement new processes to ensure portfolio accuracy
  6. Analyze and interpret financial data
  7. Monitor portfolio activity and identify areas of risk
  8. Maintain and update portfolio records
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  11. Monitor industry trends and developments in order to adjust portfolio strategy accordingly
  12. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management
  13. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
