Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Analyst to join the Records Management team at The Bank of New York Mellon. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in records management and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized, and have the ability to prioritize tasks. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Records Management team, ensuring records are stored and accessed in a timely manner, and providing guidance and support to other team members. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in records management. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Records Management team, including ensuring records are stored and accessed in a timely manner.
  2. Provide guidance and support to other team members.
  3. Prioritize tasks and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  4. Develop and maintain records management policies and procedures.
  5. Ensure records are properly stored, archived, and destroyed according to company policy.
  6. Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries and provide customer service.
  8. Develop strategies to improve records management processes.
  9. Work with other departments to ensure records are properly shared and accessed.
  10. Train and mentor team members in records management best practices.
