Lead Analyst, External Reporting

As an experienced Lead Analyst in External Reporting at The Bank of New York Mellon, you will be responsible for leading the external reporting team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and filing of periodic financial information with the SEC. You will use your knowledge of accounting principles and practices to provide accurate and timely information to the Company's stakeholders. 4. Create reports and presentations as required.
5. Develop and monitor policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of external reporting.
6. Monitor and analyze financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
7. Develop and maintain effective control systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
8. Research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
9. Stay up to date on all relevant regulations and their implications for the Company.
10. Proactively identify, analyze and resolve reporting issues.
