Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is seeking an experienced Lead Analyst to join our Data Management & Quantitative Analysis team. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is passionate about data, quantitative analysis, and finding creative solutions to complex issues.The Lead Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics and data strategies that will support our Data Management & Quantitative Analysis team. The Lead Analyst will be required to analyze and interpret large datasets, create models, and develop data visualizations to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as math, economics, or statistics, as well as 5+ years of experience in data management, quantitative analysis, and advanced analytics. The successful candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and an ability to work independently and with a team. Responsibilities for the Lead Analyst role include:

  1. Develop and implement advanced analytics and data strategies to support the Data Management & Quantitative Analysis team.
  2. Analyze and interpret large datasets.
  3. Create models and develop data visualizations to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  4. Maintain technical and communication skills.
  5. Work independently and with a team.
  6. Think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
  7. Monitor data trends and provide ongoing analysis.
  8. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  10. Provide guidance and support to team members.
