Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for an experienced and creative Investments Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the financial services industry and investments in particular, and be able to communicate complex concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language.Our perfect Investments Writer should have a passion for writing, a strong understanding of financial markets, and the ability to think critically and provide meaningful insights. The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to different writing styles, stay on top of the latest developments in the industry, and write in a clear and concise manner.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in investments writing. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and organizational skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines. Additionally, we are looking for someone with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.If you have the qualifications and enthusiasm to work in a dynamic team environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and analyze financial markets and investments to develop content for various formats, including articles, press releases, and investment reports
  2. Write content in a clear, concise manner that is easy to understand
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the industry and provide meaningful insights
  4. Adapt quickly to different writing styles to meet client and internal stakeholder needs
  5. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and quality
  6. Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure content meets their needs
  7. Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  8. Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
