Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the financial services industry? The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for an Investment Operations Solutions Analyst to join our team and take our operations to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to support our Investment Operations group.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in an Investment Operations or similar role. You must also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management is essential.If you believe that you meet these qualifications and have the drive and enthusiasm to help take our Investment Operations to the next level, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement innovative solutions to support the Investment Operations group.
  2. Analyze and solve complex problems relating to Investment Operations.
  3. Maintain and update existing systems and procedures.
  4. Research and analyze financial markets and trends.
  5. Provide reports and presentations to senior management.
  6. Monitor and control daily operations activities.
  7. Assist with the preparation of regulatory filings.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of operations.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
