
Fund Accountant
The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for a Fund Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to be part of a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of fund transactions, including processing cash activity, reconciling all asset classes, and preparing financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze fund performance, report on fund performance, and track fund risk.
- Review and assess the accuracy of trade settlements, ensuring all transactions are booked correctly.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all fund activity is appropriately documented and reported.
- Act as a primary contact for clients and other external stakeholders, providing timely responses and resolving any queries.
- Provide support for audits and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and procedures, recommending improvements to streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor market changes and adjust fund activity accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of all fund activity.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting
