  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the bank's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of strategists, providing guidance and support in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for the bank.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gather insights and input for the strategic planning process.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and industry experts to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends.
  6. Utilize data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership and board members to communicate strategic plans and progress.
  8. Monitor and assess potential risks and challenges related to the implementation of strategic initiatives, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  9. Stay informed on regulatory changes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry, and ensure the strategic plan meets all necessary guidelines.
  10. Continuously evaluate and adjust the strategic plan as needed to adapt to changing market conditions and achieve long-term growth and success for the bank.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Strategic Planning And Analysis: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record Of At Least 7-10 Years In Strategic Planning And Analysis, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, Strategic Planning, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Strategic Planners. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Their Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Industry Trends: The Bank Of New York Mellon Is A Leading Financial Institution And The Director Of Strategic Planning Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Financial Markets And Industry Trends To Develop Effective Strategies For The Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Strategies And Ideas To Senior Management And Stakeholders.
