- Oversee and manage all fund and client accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of fund and client accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Review and analyze financial data and reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fund accounting, and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as investment management and risk management, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Monitor and manage fund expenses, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and other reporting documents for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Participate in audits and ensure all audit findings are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders regarding fund and client accounting operations, providing regular updates and reports.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Clients And Senior Management.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Fund Accounting Or Client Accounting At A Financial Institution.
Extensive Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards, Including Gaap And Ifrs.
Strong Leadership Skills With Experience Managing A Team Of Accounting Professionals.
