We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director, Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Group Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong leader with an established track record of overseeing credit risk activities related to counterparty exposures. The ideal candidate has the ability to think strategically while also managing at a detailed level. The successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of credit risk management and be able to manage a diverse team of professionals.The Director, Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Group Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of counterparty credit risk, including credit limit setting, concentration risk management, and credit due diligence activities. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure that all risks are identified, evaluated, and monitored in line with established policies and procedures.The ideal candidate for this role has a minimum of 10 years of experience in the credit risk management field. The candidate should also possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as finance, economics, accounting, or mathematics. An advanced degree is preferred. Knowledge of banking regulations and a strong understanding of financial markets and products is essential. The successful candidate should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to think strategically while managing at a detailed level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the management of counterparty credit risk, including credit limit setting, concentration risk management, and credit due diligence activities.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and monitor risks in line with established policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain credit risk management strategies, processes, and procedures.
  4. Monitor counterparty credit exposure and credit utilization.
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations and industry best practices.
  6. Lead a diverse team of professionals and provide mentorship and guidance.
  7. Collaborate with other departments in the organization to ensure effective risk management.
  8. Develop reports and presentations for senior management.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and news and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
