  1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to effectively promote the brand and corporate messaging of The Bank of New York Mellon.
  2. Create and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
  3. Oversee the development of all communication materials, including press releases, media kits, and presentations.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries and proactively pitch stories to relevant media outlets.
  5. Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities to enhance the bank's reputation and visibility.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Investor Relations, and Legal, to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
  7. Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and provide guidance and support during times of crisis.
  8. Manage a team of communication professionals and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  9. Serve as a spokesperson for the bank and represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
  10. Continuously assess and improve communication strategies and tactics to drive measurable results and support business objectives.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of effective communication strategies.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to communications and ensure all materials meet legal and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Corporate Communications, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To Various Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Communication Plans And Campaigns.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing And Mentoring A Team, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Organizational Goals.
