• Design and develop new data pipelines and architectures to support the needs of The Bank of New York Mellon • Monitor and maintain existing big data systems, ensuring efficient data flow and storage • Troubleshoot and debug data engineering issues • Research and evaluate new big data technologies and architectures • Clean, transform, and manipulate data to meet the requirements of the project • Develop and implement data models to support business objectives • Collaborate with other data engineers and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes • Document processes and data engineering design decisions
