
Collateral Operations Analyst
The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Collateral Operations Analyst to join our team. At The Bank of New York Mellon, our team of analysts works collaboratively to provide our clients with the highest quality service. Our ideal candidate is a critical thinker who is passionate about problem-solving and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, the Collateral Operations Analyst should demonstrate a deep understanding of the banking industry, as well as expertise in data analysis and problem-solving. This individual should also be a team player who is able to effectively manage competing priorities. The following qualifications are required:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that operational activities meet all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor collateral operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor collateral transactions and initiate appropriate actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other internal departments.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
- Respond to client inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
