  1. Welcome and orient incoming interns to the culture, values, and expectations of The Bank of New York Mellon.
  2. Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new interns, including providing necessary resources and training.
  3. Develop and implement a structured program for interns to gain hands-on experience in investment management.
  4. Coordinate with managers and mentors to assign meaningful and challenging projects to interns.
  5. Monitor and evaluate intern performance and provide timely feedback for improvement.
  6. Create opportunities for interns to network with professionals and leaders within the company.
  7. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment for interns to share ideas and learn from each other.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations throughout the internship program.
  9. Serve as a point of contact for interns to address any questions or concerns.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the internship program to provide a valuable experience for interns.
  11. Represent the company and promote the internship program at recruitment events and career fairs.
  12. Demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for the company's mission and vision.
  13. Embody the company's core values of innovation, excellence, and diversity and inclusion.
  14. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the company through the development of talented interns.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Academic Background: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0 And Be Pursuing A Degree In A Related Field Such As Finance, Economics, Or Business.

  • Interest In Investment Management: A Passion For The Financial Markets And A Desire To Learn About Investment Strategies, Products, And Services Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Analytical And Quantitative Skills: The Internship Will Involve Analyzing Data, Building Financial Models, And Making Investment Recommendations. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Proficient In Excel And Other Analytical Tools.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Colleagues And Communicate Complex Ideas In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Crucial For Success In The Fast-Paced Environment Of Investment Management.

  • Prior Internship Or Relevant Experience: Previous Internships In Finance, Banking, Or Investment Management, Or Other Relevant Work Experience, Will Be Considered Favorably.
