- Design and develop complex systems for critical missions in the defense and aerospace industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical feasibility, and propose solutions.
- Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure system functionality and performance.
- Conduct testing and verification to ensure the quality and reliability of the systems.
- Provide technical support to project managers and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate into system designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mission systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system designs, processes, and procedures.
- Remain compliant with all project requirements, regulations, and standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and train junior team members on system engineering processes and methodologies.
- Drive innovation and propose new ideas to improve system functionality and performance.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time and within budget delivery.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the team and across departments.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Systems Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of System Architecture And Design Principles, Including Hardware, Software, And Networking.
Proficiency In System Modeling And Simulation Tools, Such As Matlab Or Simulink.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Do-178C And Do-254, And Experience Working On Complex, Mission-Critical Systems.
