- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of Thales facilities, assets, and personnel.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate and oversee all security-related activities, including access control, surveillance, emergency response, and incident management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and government officials.
- Manage and maintain security systems and equipment, such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarms, to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, regulations, and laws related to security and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any IT-related issues, including hardware and software malfunctions, network outages, and cybersecurity incidents.
- Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of security and IT functions.
Extensive Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Physical Security, Cybersecurity, And Information Security.
Strong Technical Background: As The It Lead For Thales, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In It Systems And Infrastructure. They Should Be Familiar With A Variety Of Operating Systems, Networks, And Software Applications.
Experience In Risk Assessment And Management: The Site Security Coordinator And It Lead Will Be Responsible For Conducting Risk Assessments And Implementing Risk Management Strategies. Therefore, They Should Have Experience In Identifying Potential Threats And Vulnerabilities And Developing Mitigation Plans.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Role Will Require The Candidate To Work Closely With Both Security And It Teams, As Well As Other Departments Within The Company. Strong Communication And Leadership Abilities Are Essential For Effectively Coordinating And Leading These Teams.
