- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and train a team of quality assurance professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure consistent and effective performance.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in quality assurance to continuously improve our operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization.
- Communicate with senior management on quality assurance performance, highlighting successes and challenges, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new products and processes, ensuring quality requirements are met.
- Act as a subject matter expert on quality assurance matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Quality Assurance Manager At Thales Should Have A Strong Educational Background In A Relevant Field To Ensure A Deep Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of The Company's Products And Processes.
Quality Management Certification: Thales May Require A Quality Assurance Manager To Have A Formal Certification In Quality Management, Such As Six Sigma Or Iso 9001, To Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Implement And Maintain A Robust Quality Management System.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Thales May Prefer A Candidate With Previous Experience As A Quality Assurance Manager In A Similar Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, As Well As Their Ability To Lead A Team And Deliver Results.
